Vouchsafe is looking for an experienced software engineer to take our platform’s machine learning features to the next level.
Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for:
- building and testing new features, independently if needed
- working with our CTO and other engineers to prioritise and define work
- helping other engineers by reviewing code and pairing
- building React components, business logic and API endpoints
- training and deploying AI models to classify and extract insights from different kinds of data
- investigating and fixing bugs
Who we’re looking for
This role would suit an experienced full-stack engineer with solid grounding in a range of technologies gained over a good number of years.
You will definitely need to know:
- JavaScript and TypeScript
- React
- SQL
- AWS
It will help you stand out if you have:
- Relevant domain expertise. That could be in fintech, banking, fraud prevention, identity verification or KYC
- Experience working for a startup or other early-stage company where speed is important
- Helped grow a codebase from an initial proof-of-concept to a mature product
Ideally, you may have specific experience in one of these nice-to-have areas, or be willing to learn:
- Training and deploying machine learning models, using tools like AWS Rekognition, the OpenAI platform, Google Gemini or similar
- Deploying and running modern web apps on AWS in a secure way, using tools like Lambda, RDS and S3
