Vouchsafe joins Bethnal Green Ventures Spring 2024 cohort

We’re excited to announce that Vouchsafe has joined the Bethnal Green Ventures (BGV) portfolio as part of their Spring 2024 programme.
Vouchsafe was selected from over 360 applicants to receive investment and join a community of startups driving positive social and environmental impact.
Vouchsafe’s mission is to make it easier for people to prove who they are using their trusted relationships rather than relying solely on traditional paper documents. This innovation will help the 11 million UK residents without standard ID to access vital services like bank accounts, employment, housing, healthcare, benefits, and even voting.
“Chloe and I visited Bethnal Green Ventures two weeks ago to sign the paperwork and officially make Vouchsafe part of their portfolio,” said CTO Jaye Hackett. “We think they’re perfect partners in our mission to build a better way for people to prove who they are.”
BGV is Europe’s leading tech-for-good VC. Their programme focuses on supporting ventures that promote inclusive societies, responsible consumption, and better health outcomes.
By joining the programme, Vouchsafe will gain access to mentorship, funding, and a network of like-minded founders dedicated to using technology for good.
