Sandbox mode is now much more capable

TL;DR: It’s now much easier to test Vouchsafe and understand different result scenarios with the redesigned sandbox mode, both from our dashboard and API.
Sandbox mode is a handy way to play around with Vouchsafe in complete safety, without affecting real data or notifying real customers, for free.
Until now it has exclusively been a developer concept. Using a sandbox secret with our API triggers canned responses that are helpful when writing durable integration tests.
We’ve now extended sandbox mode to cover the whole product. You can see what kind of results different checks will return without having to process real ones.
We have also expanded the number of API endpoints that support sandbox mode, and the variety of test responses available.
They are consistent across the API and dashboard, so you can see an example Risk check and also inspect the corresponding JSON data at the same ID.
To activate sandbox mode, from the dashboard go to the top right team chooser and flip on Sandbox mode. To avoid confusion, there will be a persistent banner across the top of the app while you’re in this mode.
This doesn’t touch real data. If you want to get a feel for real match rates, get in touch with us to run a data pilot instead.
