Changelog 12 August 2026

You can now block and report suspect verifications straight from the dashboard

Jaye Hackett

You can now directly block verifications you believe to be fraudulent from the results page.

As AI-powered identity fraud surges, onboarding checks are no longer sufficient to catch the most sophisticated attackers. This is why Vouchsafe encourages the use of digital evidence over photo ID and document scans, but increasingly, misuse only becomes evident once the account is opened or the service is provided.

Until now, you have been able to report verifications you discover or suspect to be fraud to us via live support chat or email. Now you can do it directly from the dashboard.

Once someone is blocked, their facial biometrics, contact details and evidence are instantly added to a block list which will immediately surface them for your review if they attempt to verify again.

This stops you playing whack-a-mole with persistent attackers, and can be easily undone if you make a mistake.

Responsible use of the blocking feature helps keep the entire Vouchsafe network safe, and they are one of many data points we use to understand which identities are risky. The riskiest ones may be blocked across the entire Vouchsafe network at our discretion.

To learn more about how blocking and reporting can keep you and our other customers safe, open a live support chat or email jaye@vouchsafe.id.
