You can now use Vouchsafe for free if you’re building fairer finance

Today we’re launching Vouchsafe for Good, a new programme giving free access to our next-gen identity verification and KYC platform for organisations improving financial inclusion in the UK.
This is made possible thanks to the support of Fair4All Finance, an early backer of ours and a brilliant partner in widening access to fair financial services.
The scale of the problem
More than 20 million people in the UK are financially vulnerable. Around one in three adults struggle to access mainstream credit.
Some are blocked by traditional ID checks. Others are shut out due to thin credit files or outdated risk models.
It means people pay more for essentials—or go without—because they can’t access fair, regulated credit.
I watched Michael Sheen’s Secret Million Pound Giveaway over the weekend. Many of you will have seen it already. It follows Sheen as he uses his own money to wipe out over £1 million of debt in south Wales. His point is simple: debt is becoming unavoidable, and the system punishes those with the least.
He’s right. Consumer debt is rising fast, and APRs are highest for those who can least afford them.
We launched Vouchsafe for Good now because we need better tools, and better partnerships, to change that.
Who this is for
We’re inviting organisations building fairer access to credit and financial services to apply. You might be a:
- credit union, CDFI or building society
- mission-led or ethical fintech
- platform helping people build financial resilience
If that sounds like you, you can use Vouchsafe for free. The programme includes all features with no usage caps.
What’s included
Everyone accepted into the programme gets:
- full access to the Vouchsafe platform
- all features, including inclusive verification and onboarding tools
- no fees, usage caps or hidden costs
This is an ongoing programme designed to support those doing the hard work of building fairer finance.
Why this matters
Financial services are fundamental to how we live. If you can’t open a bank account or access fair, regulated credit, it becomes harder to move through the world. You miss out on what you need or pay a premium for the basics.

Eligibility: Vouchsafe for Good is open to organisations who work in the UK, whose work directly supports financial inclusion. You might be a regulated lender, a fintech, or a social enterprise, as long as your focus is on making access to financial services fairer and more inclusive. Fully funded places are limited.
